By way of background, I am from the advertising industry in India (at least that’s where I started my career 27 years ago).
I moved from advertising to the dotcom world as Creative Director at rediff.com, (the largest internet portal in India) in the early days of the internet boom before going back to the advertising industry as Head of Business for OgilvyInteractive, India. After that, I flirted with the software industry for a short period before returning to advertising where I now work as a consultant in the area of Direct Marketing and Interactive Applications.
Besides, I have completed a certificate course in Basic Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu in London and for the last many years have been writing on food trends, travel and food and restaurant trends for a few Indian publications.
